Can I rent today?
Yes! There are a few details yet to be put in place, however, we are currently renting lenses. Please contact us through email, or place your order online.

What lenses will be available in the future?
We are striving to have all of the most popular lenses available. Some lenses that we will be adding in the near future are:
How long are the rental periods?
Our rental periods are 1 week, 2 weeks and 3 weeks long. Shorter and longer rental periods will be considered upon request.

How does the rental period work?
The rental period begins the day following the first delivery attempt. On the last day of the rental period, you must ship the lens during business hours.

Can I schedule a rental for a specific date?
We are currently able to schedule rentals up to 3 months in advance. This will allow you to plan that big trip and know you'll have the lenses you need!

Can I pick up the lens in person?
If you are in the Minneapolis / St.Paul area, you may pick up and drop off your rentals by appointment.

Is rental available outside of the US?
Unfortunately, due to the high cost and slow speed of international shipping, we are not currently renting outside of the continental US.

What is the condition of your equipment?
The condition of our equipment varies from "like new" to "ugly but functional". Each of the images on this website are of the actual lenses available for rental. If you have specific questions about an individual piece of equipment, please email us prior to rental.

Do your lenses come with all accessories?
All of our lenses have front and back caps. Not all of our lenses have lens hoods. All of the white "G" glass has original hoods, as well as most of the wide angle lenses. Some lenses have dedicated soft or hard cases. If we have the case, the lens will be shipped with it. If you have a question about a specific lens, please ask prior to rental.

Do your lenses come with protective filters?
Some of the G lenses have protective filters as part of the lens. Most other lenses do not come with filters, however, some filters are available upon request. Please let us know if you are concerned about the need for a protective filter before renting.

Do you charge a deposit?
Currently, we must charge a deposit. Until further notice, a deposit approximately equal to the market value of the lenses will be required for all rentals.

Are you interested in buying used equipment?
Yes, I am looking to have a full stock of lenses. The best way for us to have a full stock is to buy used lenses that are in great condition. If you would like to sell us a used lens, please contact us using the link on the left.

How will you be shipping the lenses?
It is our goal to ship in-stock lenses within 24-48 hours of receiving payment. The shipment time is 2-3 days for most areas. If a problem in shipping does occur, we will work hard to make it right. Please notify us immediately if you believe there may be a problem.

Is the delivery date guaranteed?
The delivery date is not guaranteed. If you need the lens on a specific date, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, if a lens does not arrive prior to your event, we will not be held responsible and the agreed upon rental period will still be charged.

Does the shipping charge include return shipping?
The shipping fee associated with each rental includes the shipment to you, and also a return shipment label. This ensures that the shipments are properly insured, and we can track them with ease. We currently use FedEx, so if you would like to use another carrier for return shipment, please contact us prior to rental, and details can be discussed.

Is there a discount for multiple lens rentals?
If you are renting multiple lenses at the same time, the shipping will be discounted. You will be charged based on the actual shipping cost of the combined lenses in a single package. This works particularly well for large lenses and teleconverters. The combined shipping cost is only a few dollars more than the cost to ship a single large lens.

What if I am unhappy with my rental?
We are striving to keep all customers 100% satisfied. If there is something you are not happy with, please contact us immediately through email or phone.
